Sediment dates with implications for the age of the conversion from palaeochannel to modern fluvial activity on the Murray River and tributaries
Variation of Rb/Sr Ratios in the Loess-Paleosol Sequences of Central China during the Last 130,000 Years and Their Implications for Monsoon Paleoclimatology
Rb, Sr, and magnetic susceptibility have been measured in the last interglacial–glacial loess profiles at Luochuan and Huanxian, central China. A high degree of similarity between the parameters in both profiles suggests that variations of Rb/Sr ratios in the sequence can be regarded as an indicator of East Asian summer monsoon strength. Matching the Rb/Sr record with the SPECMAP δ 18 O curve suggests that the Rb/Sr ratio responds sensitively to …

Radiocarbon dates on shearwater bones from Beeton Shelter, Badger Island, Bass Strait
The studies have shown that small islands in eastern Bass Strait provided rookery sites for a variety of shearwater bones by the mid-Holocene. The two warm-water shearwaters represented in Beeton shelter have shown the climatic changes and their affect on sea-water temperatures in eastern Bass Strait

Allen (1994) and Allen & Holdaway (1995), noticing the pattern in early radiocarbon dates from Australia, have advanced the notion their limit records the human settlement of the continent. A critical analysis of context and content in those carbon determinations leads to a different view. Holocene Coral Reef Terraces and Coseismic Uplift of Huon Peninsula, Papua New Guinea
As many as six levels of emerged Holocene coral terraces occur along 40 km of coastline on the Huon Peninsula, Papua New Guinea, recording uplift history since culmination of the postglacial transgression. Reconnaissance Thermoluminescence Dating of Northern Australian Coastal Dune Systems
Quaternary lithostratigraphic units in coastal dunes have been dated at three locations in northern Australia, Cobourg Peninsula, Shelburne Bay, and Cape Flattery, by both radiocarbon dating of shell and organic carbon and thermoluminescence (TL) sediment dating.
