Annually, more than 1.5 million juvenile offenders are arrested and routinely Mirandized with little consideration regarding the comprehensibility of these warnings. Actuarial methods were tested on 80 random profiles and 80 forensic evaluatees for discriminating between random and nonrandom MMPI profiles.
