  • Associations between working memory and mathematical ability in elementary school children: A cross-grade network analysis

    摘要: 尽管大量研究表明工作记忆与数学能力存在紧密联系, 但有关两种能力子结构之间的特异性关联及随学段变化的趋势尚不明确。本研究以875名一(低)、三(中)、五(高)年级(学段)儿童为研究对象, 采用网络分析方法系统考察了各工作记忆子成分与不同领域数学能力之间的关系, 以及这些联系是否会在不同学段间显现差异。结果表明, 低学段中言语工作记忆容量和言语工作记忆刷新与数学运算能力之间具有最强的正向关联; 视空工作记忆容量与中、高学段儿童的数学运算能力具有最大的正向联系; 言语工作记忆容量与中学段逻辑思维能力和高学段空间想象能力呈现最紧密的关联。此外, 网络比较进一步发现学龄中段言语工作记忆刷新与数学运算能力之间的连接强度显著低于学龄低段和学龄高段, 且学龄低段言语工作记忆刷新与空间想象能力之间的连接强度显著低于学龄高段。本文为理解工作记忆与数学能力之间的关系及其发展模式提供了新的视角, 对制定学龄儿童数学能力干预增强措施具有重要教育启示意义。

    摘要: 儿童对“聪明”和“努力”的判断与评价是对过程线索还是结果线索更加敏感?儿童与成人对“聪明”和“努力”的判断与评价有什么不同?本研究探究这些问题。研究呈现两位人物在两次考试中的过程与结果: 第一次考试成绩相同, 但其中一位用时较长。参与者需判断谁更聪明、谁更努力, 并对两者进行评价; 第二次考试中, 我们操控原本被认为较不聪明或较不努力的人物取得更好的成绩, 以探究结果变化对判断的影响。结果发现, 儿童自4岁起便能推断用时短的人物更“聪明”, 而尚不能准确推断谁更“努力”, 随着年龄增长, 逐渐理解用时长的人物更努力。相较于“聪明”判断, 儿童对“努力”的判断较少随结果变化而改变; 成人对“聪明”与“努力”的判断均不随结果变化而改变。此外, 随年龄增长, 儿童对努力者的评价愈加积极。

    摘要: 运动视频游戏作为一种兼顾身体运动与认知任务的创新型训练方式, 其不同组合模式对儿童执行功能的影响, 以及认知参与和运动强度在其中的作用, 仍是当前运动-认知领域亟待深入探索的核心议题。本研究通过两项系统性实验考察究竟何种形式的运动视频游戏训练更有利于儿童执行功能的发展。实验1比较融合式(运动视频游戏)与结合式(运动+视频游戏)两种训练模式的差异化影响, 结果表明, 运动视频游戏训练显著提升了儿童的反应抑制和工作记忆刷新能力, 且效果明显优于运动+视频游戏训练。补充实验进一步发现, 相比于年轻成人, 儿童群体在运动视频游戏训练中获得了更大的认知收益, 这得益于其更高的神经可塑性。实验2进一步剖析运动强度和认知参与的作用机制, 结果显示, 认知参与对反应抑制能力的促进作用较运动强度更为显著且持久; 在工作记忆刷新方面, 运动强度和认知参与均发挥积极作用, 但二者未表现出交互效应, 提示两者可能通过独立的神经通路影响执行功能。总的来说, 本研究揭示了运动视频游戏训练在儿童执行功能提升方…
