    The contemporary contours of citizenship and socio-spatial relationships between Indigenous peoples and settlers in Québec, Canada, are changing.     The author presents a comparative study of neoliberalism in two Mexican localities, Monterrey and Oaxaca, using the analytical lens of a 'topography'.
