OBJECTIVE: This study examined whether race/ethnicity and gender predicted sentencing to anger management therapy as a probation condition. HYPOTHESES: We predicted judges would be more likely to assign African Americans and Hispanics, and males to anger management than Caucasians and women, respectively.
