With this, I hope to (1) help readers relate to and understand the issues that they are facing in creating impact and (2) inspire academics and academic institutions to remove obstacles to creating impact. Personal Contact with Refugees is Key to Welcoming Them: An Analysis of Politicians' and Citizens' Attitudes Towards Refugee Integration
Politicians are influential both in directing policies about refugees and in framing public discourse about them. We therefore examine similarities and differences between politicians' attitudes towards refugee integration and those held by citizens. Based on the stereotype content model, we expect that political ideo…

This article contains the first edition of three recently discovered unique Middle Dutch texts of the flagellants' ritual which took place in 1349. These are a liturgy, a song in praise of the Virgin Mary and a sermon, handed down on a scroll dating from the middle of the fourteenth century. It is likely that this scroll was carried along in flagellants' processions and was used by the precentor. The texts are published in a critical edition, all…
The Internationalization Cube: A Tentative Model for the Study of Organizational Designs and the Results of Internationalism in Higher Education
In 1993 a research project was carried out in the Netherlands concerning the organization of the internationalization of higher education. This phenomenon was described on the basis of the outcome of a questionnaire. In addition, a model was developed and tested for the analysis of the internal process of decision making, organization, and implementation of internationalization in higher education institutions, as well as the relations between th…
