  • Transnational Capitalist Class

    Rubin Patterson•ARTICLE•Globalizations•2013•Cited by: 1•References: 6

This article examines the use of race by the transnational capitalist class (TCC) to get globalizing politicians in office to execute the powers of the state to help shift from national obligations to labor to global obligations to capital. Open Access•Rubin Patterson, Nicole Lambert•ARTICLE•Journal of Black Studies•2011

This year marks the 40th year of Africana Studies in the academy, and while great gains have been made, there is one glaring area of study absent from the field—the environment.
