A Study on the Discourse of Transgender Women Athletes in Korea
본 연구는 한국 스포츠에서 여성 트랜스젠더 선수 논쟁이 언론을 통해 어떠한 담론 구조로 구성되는지를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 2021년부터 2023년까지 국내 주요 일간지와 방송사에 보도된 관련 기사 142건을 수집하여 미디어 프레이밍 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 언론 담론은 (1) 공정성·질서 중심 담론, (2) 권리·포용 중심 담론, (3) 관리·조정 담론으로 유형화되었다. 공정성·질서 담론은 테스토스테론 수치와 신체 조건을 근거로 여성부의 경계를 유지하려는 경향을 보였으며, 여성 보호와 생물학적 질서 수호 논리를 통해 성별 이분법을 강화하였다. 반면 인권·포용 담론은 스포츠 참여권과 차별금지를 강조하며 공정성을 사회문화적·절차적 개념으로 재정의하였으나, 상대적으로 제한적으로 나타났다. 또한 제도적 불확실성 담론은 규정 공백을 강조하며 판단을 유예하는 효과를 낳았고, 분리 리그 대안은 타협…

The impact of watching televised Olympic Games on social capital
본 연구는 올림픽 시청시간이 온·오프라인 사회적 대화량을 매개로 결속적·교량적 사회자본 형성에 미치는 영향과 시청 종목 다양성의 조절효과를 검증 하였다. 2021년 개최된 도쿄올림픽 시청자 263명을 대상으로 수집한 설문자료를 매개변수와 조절변수가 포함된 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 자료 분석에는 STATA 15와 AMOS 25를 이용하였고 매개효과 분석을 위해서는 부트스트래핑(Bootstrapping) 방식을 이용하였다. 분석 결과 올림픽 시청 시간이 온·오프라인 사회적 대화량을 통해 결속적·교량적 사회자본 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이때 올림픽 시청시간과 결속적·교량적 사회자본과의 관계를 온·오프라인 사회적 대화량이 완전 매개하였다. 또한 시청한 올림픽 종목의 수가 증가할수록 올림픽 시청 시간이 사회적 대화량에 미치는 영향이 강화되는 올림픽 종목 다양성의 조절…

Demand for Chinese Super League (CSL)
본 연구는 중국 프로 축구리그(CSL)의 경기장 현장 관람 수요에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 2018에서 2019년 까지 두 시즌 동안 개최된 총 238개의 CSL 경기를 대상으로 6개 유형(승부의 불확실성, 스타선수, 시설, 팀 경기력, 소비자 선호, 경제적 요인) 17개 독립변수와 6개 통제변수(주말 경기, 경기 시각, 날씨, 더비 경기, 경쟁 팀 경기장 거리, 중계방송 여부)가 경기별 관중 수에 미치는 영향을 STATA 15를 이용하여 다중회귀 분석으로 검증하였다. 분석 결과 스타 효과와 결과의 불확실성은 CSL 경기장 관람 수요에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 팀의 경기력과 소비자의 선호 요인 그리고 지역 실업률 등의 경제적 요인은 관중 수에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 팀의 연봉 총합이 높을수록, 오래된 구단일수록, 지역 실업률이 낮을수록,…
Comprehensive Integration Index for East Asia
본 연구는 아시아 지역 내 통합 정도를 보여 주는 개념적 모형을 개발하고 이를 바탕으로 시계열 추이를 볼 수 있는 통합지수를 구축하였다. 첫째, 한국과 중국 그리고 일본을 연구대상 국가로 선정하였다. 둘째, 경제적 분야 외에도 정치적 그리고 사회문화적 분야도 함께 분석하였다. 셋째, 삼국의 통합 개념을 제도적 통합과 관계적 통합으로 나누고, 적절한 변수를 각 분야마다 선정하였다. 구축된 통합지수를 보면, 삼국의 경제와 정치 그리고 사회문화 통합지수 모두 2000년대 초반과 비교하여 2016~2017년에 약간 상승하였으나, 각 통합지수가 등락하는 시점은 일치하지 않았다. 세 분야의 통합지수를 모두 합산한 전체 통합지수도 2000년대 초반 대비 2016년에 약간 상승하였으며, 비록 미약하지만 시간이 지남에 따라 삼국의 통합 수준이 증가했다고 할 수 있다. 향후, 본 연구 프로젝트에서 개발한 방법을 …
The Multiple Identies of Naturalized Athletes in South Korea
본 연구에서는 국내로 귀화하는 선수들에게 나타나는 다중정체성, 특히 귀화로 인해 야기되는 국가정체성, 민족주의등과 관련되어 그들에게 형성된 정체성들이 무엇인지, 그리고 그것들이 어떠한 양상을 나타내는지를 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 문헌고찰과 11개의 중앙지(경향신문, 국민일보, 내일신문, 동아일보, 문화일보, 서울신문, 세계일보, 조선일보, 중앙일보, 한겨레, 한국일보 등) 및 5개 방송사(KBS, MBC, SBS, OBS, YTN) 등 주요 언론을 중심으로 123건의 인터뷰 자료를 확보하여 연구를 수행하였다. 이러한 자료는 한국언론진흥재단의 빅카인즈(BIG KINDS)를 통해 수집되었다. 연구 결과, 국내 귀화 선수들에게 형성 · 내재 · 강화되는 정체성은 네 가지로 제시할 수 있는데 첫째, 한국인으로서의 국가정체성, 둘째, 귀화 전 모국에 대한 국가정체성, 셋째, 민족주의적 차이…
