    Open Access•Marcus Lee•ARTICLE•Studies in American Political…•2024

    Open Access•Marcus Lee•ARTICLE•Du Bois Review Social Science…•2019•Cited by: 2•References: 19

This article probes the legitimacy basis for Stand Your Ground by excavating and reconstructing its formative logic. Drawing on archival records of the Florida state legislature's 2005 pioneering of …

  • Regression to the mean and football wagers

    Open Access•Marcus Lee, Gary Smith•ARTICLE•Journal of Behavioral Decision…•2002•Cited by: 1•References: 3

Football performances are an imperfect measure of abilities, and consequently exaggerate differences in abilities. The skills of those football teams that perform the best and the worst are not really that far from average; thus their future performances regress to the mean. Betting data indicate that gamblers do not fully account for this regression. Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd
