Coping with Stress and Irrational Beliefs
The present study tested whether people who endorsed fewer beliefs which Ellis designates as irrational coped more efficiently with stressful life events. Results indicated that this was the case. They reinforce the opinion that stress-management programs should focus on cognitive factors
