  • Can left-behind experience promote prosocial behavior- Evidence from China family panel studies

    Open Access•Chunfang Zhou, Zhihao Hu et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica•2026•References: 6

The study examines the relationship between left-behind experience and prosocial behavior, as well as its underlying mechanism Using data from 2010 and 2018 from China Family Panel Studies (CFPS), we find that left-behind experience during early childhood (ages 0 to 3) can improve and promote personal donation behavior and the amount of donated money. The positive impact of left-behind experience during early childhood (ages 0 to 3) on prosocial …

  • Salience effect and yield curve

Open Access•Zhihao Hu, Guokai Song et al.•ARTICLE•Economic Research-Ekonomska…•2024

This paper studies the influence of salience on nominal and real yield curves by introducing the salience effect in the Piazzesi and Schneider model (hereafter PS). We construct the salience values based on the expected consumption growth using U.S. data. We find that salience values are negatively correlated with the expected consumption growth rates. Based on U.S. data from 1960q1 to 2020q4, we find that the salience model can generate upward n…

  • Potential impact of 5 years of ivermectin mass drug administration on malaria outcomes in high burden countries

Open Access•Achla Marathe, Ruoding Shi et al.•ARTICLE•BMJ Global Health•2021

INTRODUCTION: The global progress against malaria has slowed significantly since 2017. As the current malaria control tools seem insufficient to get the trend back on track, several clinical trials are investigating ivermectin mass drug administration (iMDA) as a potential additional vector control tool; however, the health impacts and cost-effectiveness of this new strategy remain unclear. METHODS: We developed an analytical tool based on a full…

  • Networked experiments and modeling for producing collective identity in a group of human subjects using an iterative abduction framework

    Open Access•Vanessa Cedeno-Mieles, Zhihao Hu et al.•ARTICLE•Social Network Analysis and Mining•2020•Cited by: 1•References: 132

  • Evaluating Ceop model performance in semi-arid region of China

Open Access•Xiaolu Ling, Weidong Guo et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Research Letters•2012

This study systematically evaluates simulations of near-surface temperature and precipitation using the station observations collected in the semi-arid region of China during the Coordinated Enhanced Observing Period (CEOP) from October 2002 to December 2004 (EOP3 and EOP4). The outputs being evaluated are from eight general circulation models (GCMs) archived by the Coordinated Energy and Water Cycle Observations Project (CEOP), as well as a mult…
