  • Overexcitability and Perfectionism

    Open Access•Chao-Chun Liao, Ching-Chih Kuo et al.•ARTICLE•Education Sciences•2025

High school students face critical psychological challenges during adolescence, including academic pressures and educational decision-making. Dabrowski’s Theory of Positive Disintegration provides a framework for understanding growth through disintegration and reintegration, with perfectionistic traits acting as intrinsic motivators for self-improvement. This study examined the psychological profiles of 641 Taiwanese high school students: 207 mat…

  • Impact of Covid-19 on transportation and logistics

Open Access•Yanling Xu, Jingping Li et al.•ARTICLE•Economic Research-Ekonomska…•2022

Recent research has shown that the COVID-19 pandemic has holistically affected the financial and industrial sectors of China, in a considerably adverse manner. This paper aims to examine the impact of the COVID-19 virus on the transportation and logistics sector in China. In this regard, the study opted for a quantitative method of research design, along with primary data collection. The explanatory variable here is the COVID-19 virus, whereas, t…

  • Decoupling of Medical Public–Private Partnership Efficiency and Pollution to Improve Public Health

Open Access•Chien-Chi Chu, Zhi-Hang Zhou et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2021

This study investigates the spatiotemporal evolution of the efficiency of medical public–private partnerships (PPPs) and the decoupling of environmental pollution to promote public health, balanced development, and environmentalism. Based on the 2011–2020 data of medical PPPs in China, the results of a three-stage data envelopment analysis (DEA) and decoupling model show that, firstly, the spatiotemporal evolution of PPP efficiency of China in he…

  • Tourism and House Prices

    Tsung‐Pao Wu, Hung‐Che Wu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of China Tourism Research•2019•Cited by: 1•References: 4

This paper aims to examine the relationship between tourism activities and house prices (HP) in first-tier cities of China (Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou) using the wavelet transform context structures. This innovative technique allows the decomposition of time-series at different time frequencies. In this work, we used continuous wavelets, wavelet coherence and wavelet phase difference based on Granger causality analysis to investigate the rel…

  • Will Happiness Improve the Psychological Integration of Migrant Workers

    Open Access•Tiancheng Li, Tian-Cheng Li et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2018

Happiness is a major factor that influences people’s perceptions and behavior. Two-stage least squares regression was applied to investigate the effect of happiness on the psychological integration of migrant workers in China. The data for a total of 1625 individuals were obtained from the 2014 China Labor-force Dynamics Survey (CLDS). This study describes happiness from three main aspects: happiness, life satisfaction, and economic satisfaction.…

  • Is there any relationship between producer price index and consumer price index in the Czech Republic

    Open Access•Khalid Khan, Chi-Wei Su et al.•ARTICLE•Economic Research-Ekonomska…•2018

This article tests the expenditure-switching model in the Czech Republic to inspect the causal link between the Producer Price Index (P.P.I.) and Consumer Price Index (C.P.I.). The results of the co-movement between the P.P.I. and C.P.I. in the period indicate a positive relationship across the chosen period. We notice that in the frequency domain, the two variables have a relationship in higher spectrums (short-term). The results also show that …
