  • Warmth or competence? Exploring the impact of donation recognition on subsequent donations and information sharing

Yue Zhu, Anran Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2026

  • Macro–micro urban resilience analysis in emergency: Insights from Chinese eight major urban agglomeration

Open Access•Jingfei Song, Yue Zhu et al.•ARTICLE•Computational Urban Science•2026

Urban agglomeration, a product of advanced urbanization and industrial transformation, plays a critical role in national spatial and economic systems. Urban agglomeration resilience remains underexplored in existing literature, particularly regarding how multi-scale interactions between macro-level network structures and micro-level public perceptions jointly shape regional adaptive capacities during crises. To address this gap, this study propos…

Perceived social support has the capacity to influence psychosocial adaptation by affecting the degree of self-disclosure provides a theoretical basis upon which subsequent development of targeted intervention measures can be grounded

  • Xingshen Jieyu Decoction ameliorates post-stroke depression by modulating proBDNF/BDNF signaling via PI3K/Akt pathway

Open Access•Xiang Chen, Wei Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

  • Prosocial, Pro‐Self, or Combined? Three Types of Employee Voice and Supervisor Responses

Open Access•Jinyun Duan, Zhaobiao Zong et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Organizational Behavior•2026•References: 66

Previous research has demonstrated inconsistent findings regarding supervisors' reactions to employees' voice behavior. To address this issue, the current research adopts a broader view of voice and differentiates specific voice foci. This approach complements the understanding of voice types that are theoretically ignored yet prevalent in practice (pro‐self voice and combined voice). Based on the social dimensions model, the current research inv…

  • Does the trans-provincial immediate reimbursement reduce health gap between urban and rural floating population? Evidence from China

Open Access•Jun Tian, Zuopeng Chen et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

This paper presents theoretical evidence that the policy of immediate reimbursement for trans-regional treatments narrows the health disparities of the urban-rural floating population and elucidates the mechanisms of this impact for the first time. These results suggest that in order to achieve health equality between urban and rural residents and equitable access to medical services, China is building a more effective medical security system

Open Access•Zengao Yang, Li Zheng et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

Previous studies found chronic pain was an important risk factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD), but only focused on baseline pain status, without exploring into the dynamic changes of pain status on CVD. This study aims to investigate the associations of dynamic changes in pain status with incident CVD. This study used data from China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS) aged 45 or older. The pain status is defined as whether the …

  • Great minds think alike: How will witnesses react to the voicer's similar idea

Open Access•Tai-Kuang Peng, Jianan Zhong et al.•ARTICLE•Asian Journal Of Social Psychology•2025

Although employee voice has been widely confirmed to have multiple impacts on both voicers and managers, we know little about how silent employees (also the witnesses) are affected by voicer's behaviour. Considering a specific voice situation, we investigate how an employee reacts when witnessing a co‐worker voicing a similar idea. Based on the similarity‐attraction theory, we explored the influence of voice idea similarity on the witness's ampli…

  • Examining Creativity as a Paradox: The Interactive Effects of Novelty and Utility on In‐Role Performance

Open Access•Xuan Fei, Jie Wang et al.•ARTICLE•The Journal of Creative Behavior•2025•References: 70

In this research, we explored how the two dimensions of creativity—novelty and utility—interact to influence employees' in‐role performance. Drawing on flow theory, we hypothesize that the interaction between novelty and utility indirectly and positively affects in‐role performance via flow. We also hypothesize that learning goal orientation moderates the relationship between flow and in‐role performance. Using a multisource study and a multiwave…

This study addressed these gaps using an explanatory sequential mixed-methods …

  • Rivals or allies: How performance‐prove goal orientation influences knowledge hiding

Open Access•Yue Zhu, Tingting Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Organizational Behavior•2019•Cited by: 1•References: 7

Previous research suggests that performance‐prove goal orientation is positively related to knowledge hiding. However, we argue that this effect depends on the focus of performance feedback (i.e., individual‐ and group‐focused feedback), which shapes the nature of the competitive expression of performance‐prove goal orientation (i.e., intragroup and intergroup oriented). We conducted three studies to test our theoretical model. The results of Stu…
