Regional Trade Agreement and Government Procurement
This study examines the impact of government procurement provisions in regional trade agreements (RTAs) on cross‐border procurement flows. We construct a novel dataset from 1995 to 2018, which is used to construct depth indicators that capture the characteristics of RTA government procurement provisions. We isolate cross‐border procurement flows from the OECD input–output tables. PPML estimations reveal that RTA government procurement provisions …
Bridging the gap between scientific models and water governance
Two hands, multiple fingerprints
Water markets in China have received ample scholarly attention, but less is known about the political, ideological, and international influences that shaped their evolution. Using institutional analysis and a power-centered approach, we trace three Australian-funded projects (2005–2019) alongside domestic policy shifts to analyze how market ideas were institutionalized. We show how policy entrepreneurs embedded water trading within China’s govern…
Connecting collaborative practicums to beliefs
This qualitative study aimed to fill a research gap by examining the development of self-efficacy beliefs among nonnative-speaking student teachers (NNSTs) in teaching languages other than English. Situated in an international teacher education program for Chinese as a second/foreign language, this study explored the impacts of collaborative practicums on the self-efficacy beliefs of 17 NNSTs while they worked with 28 native-speaking student teac…

Early life environmental antibiotic exposure and preschool allergic diseases
Background: Globally, the prevalence of allergic diseases remains high, as does the level of environmental antibiotics. It has been found that clinical antibiotic application may increase preschool allergy risk. However, few biomonitoring studies have been conducted about the association between early life environmental trace dose antibiotic exposure and preschool allergy. Objective: To analyze the association between prenatal environmental antib…
The Influence on Post-Activation Potentiation Exerted by Different Degrees of Blood Flow Restriction and Multi-Levels of Activation Intensity
(1) Background: To explore the influence on post-activation potentiation (PAP) when combining different degrees of blood flow restriction (BFR) with multi-levels of resistance training intensity of activation. (2) Purpose: To provide competitive athletes with a more efficient and feasible warm-up program. (3) Study Design: The same batch of subjects performed the vertical jump test of the warm-up procedure under different conditions, one traditio…
Analysis on the economic effect of Sino-US trade friction from the perspective of added value
Based on the theory of trade added value, this paper discusses the potential actual trade scale and benefit damage degree of the two countries under the background of big country game by measuring the real trade scale of China and the USA, simulating the economic impact of tariffs imposed by China and the USA and utilizing Wang–Wei–Zhu (WWZ) method to decompose the potential changes in Sino-US trade. The results show that: firstly, the size of Ch…
