Cost-utility analysis of telitacicept versus belimumab in the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus in China
Objective: Telitacicept and belimumab are the only two approved biologics in China for treating systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). With the widespread clinical use of biologics, more reliable clinical evidence has been provided. This study seeks to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of two biologic treatments for SLE in China by utilizing current medication prices and the most recent clinical research. Methods: A cost-effectiveness analysis compari…

Wumei Wan restores the colonic mucus barrier by modulating TGF-β/Smad signaling to promote goblet cell differentiation in ulcerative colitis
Exploring the Role of Gene, Traumatic Experiences, and Religious Participation in Public Service Employment: A Gene–Environment Interaction Perspective
Previous studies on sectoral choice have examined environmental and genetic factors in isolation, with little consideration of how gene–environment interactions influence public service employment selection. Notably, altruism‐related genes have been found to play a critical role in shaping prosocial behaviors. This study investigates how early traumatic experiences affect individuals' choice of public service employment through the mediating role…
Unequal gender‐based attraction toward public sector employment in China: The role of perceived discrimination and public service motivation
Promoting demographic diversity and representation in the public sector workforce is a critical prerequisite for achieving social equity. This study investigates gender differences in public sectoral preference in China, subsequently exploring the underlying mechanisms that cause such a gender gap. Based on social psychological theories, this study develops and tests a moderated mediation model that examines public service motivation (PSM) as the…
The effects of artificial intelligence and victims’ deservingness information on citizens’ blame attribution towards administrative errors
Relationship between socioeconomic status and cognitive ability among Chinese older adults: The moderating role of social support
Our results reveal the importance of considering social support in buffering the effects of SES and the associated cognitive ability for aging populations. It highlights the importance of narrowing the socioeconomic gap among the elderly. Policymakers should consider promoting social support to improve the cognitive ability among older adults

The Effect of Medicaid Eligibility on Utilization of Services and Access to Care among Health Center Patients: A Regression Discontinuity Design
The United States’ Affordable Care Act (ACA) aims to improve access to and quality of care for low-income patients. To do so, it expands Medicaid eligibility from individuals under 100% of the federal poverty level (FPL) to include those under 138% of the FPL. Based on the 2014 Health Center Patient Survey (a nationally representative survey sponsored by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) (n = 4,380)), this study examined the…
Advancing the frontiers of genomic public administration: From genetics to administrative attitudes, behaviors, and practices
Biology's increasing applicability to the social sciences can inspire new approaches to public administration research and practice. Drawing on advances in behavioral genetics, genomic public administration may push its frontiers by examining the genetic foundations of administrative behaviors. While public administration scholars have pioneered the use of the twin design to assess the heritability of public sector employment and public service m…
Between nature and nurture: The genetic overlap between psychological attributes and selection into public service employment
Public administration scholars have had a long‐lasting interest in examining individual differences relevant to the attractiveness of public service employment. However, very few studies have explored the genetic underpinnings of these variations. This article builds upon recent behavioral genetics literature and explores whether there are genetic overlaps between psychological attributes and selection into public service employment. We construct…
The bedrock of public service motivation among Chinese adolescents: Family and school institutions
This study investigates the individual and interaction effects of parents and teachers on shaping adolescents’ PSM. Based on nationally representative data from China, we find that both family- and classroom- level factors positively impact adolescents’ PSM. Results further show that a satisfying teacher-student relationship significantly attenuates the influence the parent-child relationship imposes on PSM. This study empirically proves that the…
