Open Access•Yu Ji, Ji Yu et al.•ARTICLE•World Economy•2026

Studies have found that Chinese import competition (known as “China Shock”) and the COVID‐19 pandemic have caused a loss of jobs. • Expert or machine? Comparing the effect of pairing student teacher with in-service teacher and ChatGPT on their critical thinking, learning performance, and cognitive load in an integrated-STEM course

Tingting Li, Yu Ji et al.•ARTICLE•Asia Pacific Journal of Education•2024

For student teachers’ professional development, the emergence of generative artificial intelligence (AI) represents both opportunity and challenge. This exploratory quasi-experimental study aims to investigate the effects of “Human-Human” and “Human-Machine” collaborative learning approaches on the SETM teaching training performance of student teachers. Twenty-three student teachers were divided into two groups within a single class, each adoptin…

  • Effects of Phytoremediation Treatment on Bacterial Community Structure and Diversity in Different Petroleum-Contaminated Soils

Open Access•Yuanyuan Shen, Yu Ji et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2018

Increased exploitation and use of petroleum resources is leading to increased risk of petroleum contamination of soil and groundwater. Although phytoremediation is a widely-used and cost-effective method for rehabilitating soils polluted by petroleum, bacterial community structure and diversity in soils undergoing phytoremediation is poorly understood. We investigate bacterial community response to phytoremediation in two distinct petroleum-conta…
