Why Did The Tartessians and Romans Build Where They Did on The South-Western Coast of The Iberian Peninsula?: The Geological Perspective -A Review of Case Studies
This study examines the geomorphological factors that determined the location of a Tartessian necropolis and three Roman factories in south-western Spain. The necropolis was situated on a hill atop stable Neogene and Pleistocene strata, beyond the reach of tides and storms.
