Gender, British administration and mission management of education in Zambia 1900–1939
This article discusses the impact of including gender in the analytical framework in a study of the management and provision of education in Zambia from 1900 to 1939. In her book entitled In Memory of Her: a feminist theological reconstruction of Christian origins, Elisabeth Schussler Fiorenza illustrated how the New Testament gives glimpses of the first women who helped spread the Christian faith.
