    The concept of counterurbanisation has evoked criticisms. Some are technical, to do with terminology and analytical design.     The City West Urban Strategy is concerned with redevelopment in part of inner metropolitan Sydney. Such plans should not be seen in isolation, but in a wider temporal and spatial context. An attempt is made to correlate local rates of unemployment in Great Britain with the industrial structure of the cities and regions studied, using data for 1960–65.
