El quichua santiagueo (quechua, Argentina) es una lengua de alineamiento nominativo-acusativo con marcacin de casos en los dependientes. En esta investigacin se sostiene que la distribucin del sufijo de caso acusativo (-ta) no responde exclusivamente al parmetro sintctico, sino que dicha marcacin es sensible a las propiedades semnticas del referente que se expresa.
