  • Retailer perceptions of California’s statewide sales restriction on flavoured tobacco

Morgan M Philbin, Zena Dhatt et al.•ARTICLE•Tobacco Control•2025

Retailers reported that the sales restrictions had reduced overall flavoured tobacco product sales, which distressed businesses and customers. Retailers sought clearer guidance on products they could sell and requested assistance with transitioning away from selling flavoured tobacco

  • Effect of tobacco sales bans on retail sales in Beverly Hills and Manhattan Beach, California, USA

Nita H Mukand, Wendy Max et al.•ARTICLE•Tobacco Control•2025

The tobacco sales bans in Beverly Hills and Manhattan Beach nearly eliminated local tobacco sales in the included stores, without prompting substantial cross-border shopping. Stability of non-tobacco product sales for included stores suggests these policies did not adversely affect local retail economies. These results suggest the viability of tobacco sales bans as an effective tobacco control strategy

  • La patrimonialisation des langues (minorées)

    Rafael Colonna, Romain Colonna•ARTICLE•Langage et société•2022•References: 15

  • Les « langues de France »

    Open Access•Rafael Colonna, Romain Colonna•ARTICLE•Glottopol•2020

Rafael Colonna, Romain Colonna•ARTICLE•International Journal of the…•2020•References: 10

This article attempts to establish the important links between Corsican sociolinguistics and Catalan sociolinguistics. To this end, it returns to the main characteristics of Catalan sociolinguistics through the notion of "diglossia" and "language conflict" it generates, notions that have largely fed minority studies. Moreover, the terms of the famous Catalan dilemma are clearly stated by the substitution of the dominated language or its normaliza…
