A View From the Countryside: Radiocarbon Chronology for Zaolinhetan of the Pre-Zhou Culture in Early Dynastic China
The conquest of the Shang Dynasty at Anyang around 1046 BCE by the Zhou is one of the major events for not only Chinese Bronze Age but also early interaction between the pastoralist groups from the Eurasian Steppes and agriculture ones in the Central Plains of China. It is well-known from historical texts that the pre-Zhou people lived in the ancient Bin region (豳), the exact location of which is unclear, but most likely in the Jing River valley.…
Altered resting-state electroencephalography microstate characteristics in young male smokers
The development of nicotine addiction was associated with the abnormalities of intrinsic functional networks during the resting state in young adult smokers. As a whole-brain imaging approach, EEG microstate analysis treated multichannel EEG recordings as a series of quasi-steady microscopic states which were related to the resting-state networks (RSNs) found by fMRI. The aim of this study was to examine whether the resting-state EEG microstate a…

Electrophysiological Evidence of Event-Related Potential Changes Induced by 12 h Abstinence in Young Smokers Based on the Flanker Study
The cognitive control processes may be disrupted by abstinence in smokers, which may be helpful in the development and maintenance of addictive behavior. The purpose of this study was to measure the performance of cognitive task after 12 h of smoking abstinence by using event-related potentials (ERPs), including the error-related negativity (ERN) and the error positivity (Pe). In Eriksen flanker task, electroencephalography (EEG) signals of 24 sm…
Dynamic Neuroimaging Biomarkers of Smoking in Young Smokers
The pattern of resting state regional neural activity variability was different between young smokers and nonsmokers. Dynamic regional indexes might be a novel neuroimaging biomarker of smoking behavior in young smokers

Detailed data from interviews with China’s largest agricultural machinery company, China First Tractor Group Corporation Ltd, reveal that the density of networ…
Inter‐firm linkages and regional impact of transnational corporations: Company case studies from shanghai, china
By undertaking two company case studies in Shanghai, this article reveals that the actual regional impact of direct investment from TNCs is much greater than FDI data themselves may indicate. Such impact extends far beyond foreign invested enterprises (FIEs) as well as the invested regions. The joint venture with the local side controlled by a regional government tends to have fewer suppliers from other regions than the other with the local side …
Inter-Firm Linkages and Regional Impact of Transnational Corporations: Company Case Studies from Shanghai, China
Bargaining with Transnational Corporations: The Case of Shanghai
This study addresses the power relationship between TNCs and their partners in the host region, a question that critically affects regional development in this globalizing world.
