Safety trust in intelligent domestic robots

The Influence of Standardized Residency Training on Trainees’ Willingness to Become a Doctor
A standardized residency training program (SRT) was launched in Shanghai in 2010, for both Western Medicine (WM) and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This study aimed to assess whether the program impacted trainees' willingness to become a doctor and whether the program had different effects among WM and TCM trainees. A structured questionnaire was distributed to 2114 trainees to assess their perceptions and satisfaction with the program and t…
Effects of trait anger, driving anger, and driving experience on dangerous driving behavior
To explore the effect of anger behind the wheel on driving behavior and accident involvement has been the subject of many studies. However, few studies have explored the interaction between anger and driving experience on dangerous driving behavior. This study is a moderated mediation analysis of the effect of trait anger, driving anger, and driving experience on driving behavior. A sample of 303 drivers was tested using the Trait Anger Scale (TA…
Psychometric Evaluation of Chinese-Language 44-Item and 10-Item Big Five Personality Inventories, Including Correlations with Chronotype, Mindfulness and Mind Wandering
The 44-item and 10-item Big Five Inventory (BFI) personality scales are widely used, but there is a lack of psychometric data for Chinese versions. Eight surveys (total N = 2,496, aged 18-82), assessed a Chinese-language BFI-44 and/or an independently translated Chinese-language BFI-10. Most BFI-44 items loaded strongly or predominantly on the expected dimension, and values of Cronbach's alpha ranged .698-.807. Test-retest coefficients ranged .69…
Humane Orientation as a New Cultural Dimension of the GLOBE Project
We validate, extend, and empirically and theoretically criticize the cultural dimension of humane orientation of the project GLOBE (Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness Research Program). Theoretically, humane orientation is not just a one-dimensionally positive concept about being caring, altruistic, and kind to others as discussed by Kabasakal and Bodur (2004), but there is also a certain ambivalence to this concept. We s…
The Effect of Orientation Coincidence of Objects on Intrinsic Frame of Reference System in Symmetrical Scene
Intrinsic frame of reference system theory is a newly-developed theory in spatial memory researches. It suggests that when people learn locations of objects in a new environment, they are inclined to mentally represent a layout of objects according to a frame of reference system defined by the collection of objects. Many studies have proven that the dominant axis of intrinsic frame of reference may differ from their egocentric orientation. But there …
