  • Urban Investigations in the Heart of Rome: The Rome Transformed Project

Open Access•Stephen Kay, Ian Haynes et al.•ARTICLE•ArchéoSciences•2021

Investigating the archaeology of Rome between first and eight centuries using non-invasive techniques.– Methodology combining structural analysis, laser scanning, geophysical prospection, drone photography, photogrammetry and environmental coring.– Application of GPR and ERT across 68 hectares in a modern urban environment

  • Integrating Magnetic and GPR Survey at Çatalhöyük

Kristian Strutt, Kristian David Strutt et al.•ARTICLE•Near Eastern Archaeology•2020

In the 2010 and 2012 Çatalhöyük field seasons geophysical survey was conducted with two objectives. The first was to map a significant portion of the East Mound at high resolution using magnetometry and ground penetrating radar in order to provide data for the mapping of subsurface structures. The second objective was to establish a correlation of the data with the materials present across the site. The geophysical survey at Çatalhöyük has facili…

  • The third KV62 radar scan: Searching for hidden chambers adjacent to Tutankhamun's tomb

Open Access•Luigi Sambuelli, Cesare Comina et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Cultural Heritage•2019

  • Geophysical anomalies detected by electrical resistivity tomography in the area surrounding Tutankhamun's tomb

Open Access•Federico Fischanger, Gianluca Catanzariti et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Cultural Heritage•2019•Cited by: 1•References: 14

  • The STREAM X Multichannel GPR System: First Test at Vieil‐Evreux (France) and Comparison with Other Geophysical Data

    Open Access•Alexandre Novo, Michel Dabas et al.•ARTICLE•Archaeological Prospection•2012•Cited by: 4•References: 9

A new multichannel ground‐penetrating radar (GPR) system was tested at the Gallo‐Roman site of Vieil‐Evreux (Evreux, France). The resultant maps are compared with previous ones obtained with the ARP© system and other standard geophysical techniques at the same site. Results show how full‐resolution GPR data acquisition methodologies, together with a robust integration of navigation and positioning mounted on a vehicle for fast prospection, provid…
