  • The Influences of Role, Action Contribution, and Outcome Feedback on Individual and Joint Sense of Agency

    Open Access•Hongyuan Guo, Haiqing Guo et al.•ARTICLE•Cognitive Science•2025•References: 38

Individuals can experience both “I” based individual agency and “we” based joint agency during cooperative action. This study examined how three key factors, role identity (leader, follower), action contribution (high, equal, low), and outcome feedback (success, failure, none), influence these two forms of agency. Through three experiments using goal‐directed joint tasks and subjective agency ratings, we systematically explored their main and int…

  • The Development of Response and Interference Inhibition in Children: Evidence from Serious Game Training

Open Access•Lingyun Wang, Jiajia Li et al.•ARTICLE•Children•2024

A serious game titled "Crossing the Jungle" was developed in this study to train children's inhibition skills using the Stroop task. The effects of inhibitory control on children were tested by a pre-test, post-test, and one-month follow-up test. In the control groups, children were asked to play a commercial game instead. In experiment 1, 48 participants chose either the training or control game voluntarily, whereas, in experiment 2, 44 particip…

  • Influence of voluntary action, nature of outcomes on sense of agency under different predictability

Yubo BU, Lihong Li et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2022
