California's "Fantasy Heritage" Revisited
IN RECENT YEARS, SEVERAL HISTORICAL STUDIES HAVE FOCUSED ON THE relations between Indians and the Spanish, Mexicans, and Anglos in colonial and nineteenth-century California.
