General and integral analysis of cardiac effects under acute hypoxia before and after intermittent hypoxic training in humans in Northern Russia
BACKGROUND: One of the specific and underexplored issues in human ecological physiology and medicine in the North is cardiac function during hypoxemia in the cold season. This formed the basis of the current study.AIM: To examine the changes in the bioelectrical activity of the heart and the integral typology of responses to acute hypoxia before and after interval normobaric hypoxic training in healthy individuals during the winter season in Nort…
Variations of human heart bioelectrical signals at hypoxic exposure
BACKGROUND: In the area of physiology and medicine, special emphasis is placed on the study of hypoxic conditions. Hypoxic responses of some major physiological systems, including blood circulation, are described. However, the cardiological component of these individual responses, and their variability at different levels of acute hypoxia (AH) remains a poorly-studied aspect. AIM: To study the individual characteristics of the response types in c…
Bioelectric heart processes in healthy men at different levels of acute normobaric hypoxia
The aim was to study cardiac bioelectric features across different levels of acute normobaric hypoxia (ANH) in healthy young men. Methods: We studied cardiac functions in response to exposure to ANH of mild (14.5 % O2) and medium (12.3 % O2) degrees for 20 minutes among 30 and 29 young men, respectively. Results. With mild and medium degree of ANH, SpO2 decreases to (91.6 ± 4.2) % and to (78.2 ± 5.2) %, respectively. An initial increase in the P1…
Gender Features of Neurotism and Vegetative Regulation in Young People of Russian North
Manifestations of emotional excitability, the vegetative status and regulation of the heart rhythm in inhabitants of the North of Russia, students (n = 1 370, 853 girls and 517 young men aged 17-22 years, the North Group) and inhabitants of the Polar region, students of Vorkuta (n = 138, 79 girls and 59 young men, the Polar Group) have been studied. There were determined: emotional excitability (ЕЕ) by means of the Russian prototype «Scale of Emo…
