A quantitative forecast of expected changes in mortality due to global warming by year 2050 has been developed for the city of Arkhangelsk. An approach to ground thermodynamics description using a coupled system of atmospheric regional climate and ground heat transfer models is improved by accounting for the time varying snow density.
