  • Le rôle du lexique dans la théorie des stéréotypes

    The aim of this article is to develop the claim made in earlier papers that the standard form (±P, ±Q) of the topoï at work in the Theory of Argumentation in Language are in fact contrary to the basic claims this theory relies on. After examining several objections, an alternative theory will then be suggested, namely the Theory of Stereotypes, based on ideas adapted from Putnam, Kripke, and others.     This study is an attempt to define the proverbial speaking from the point of view or its linguistic properties, mainly the metrical ones. It has been noticed at length that proverbial items often show rimes, assonances and alliterations. It is shown here that these phonological and prosodie features moreover reveal metrical and rhythmical patterns that can also be found in some poetic forms, as well as in nursery rhymes and slogans

    Le but de cet article est la prédictibilité de la formation d’adjectifs en français au moyen du préfixe négatifs in-. Un examen des différents problèmes montre que cette dérivation est largement sémantique, et dépend en particulier du type de propriété dénotée par la base. L’étude des différents types de propriétés permet d’établir les règles de dérivation, et montre l’importance du rôle joué par la processivité dans ce phénomène
