  • Impact of the Affordable Care Act on Disparities in Access to and Outcomes After Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting

Open Access•Marisa Hernandez-Morgan, Christine Stypula et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Racial and Ethnic…•2023

  • Exploring Primary Healthcare Experiences and Interest in Mobile Technology Engagement Amongst an Urban Population Experiencing Barriers to Care

    Open Access•Tatiana E Pakhomova, Valerie Nicholson et al.•ARTICLE•Qualitative Health Research•2023•References: 40

Mobile phone-based engagement approaches provide potential platforms for improving access to primary healthcare (PHC) services for underserved populations. We held two focus groups (February 2020) with residents ( n = 25) from a low-income urban neighbourhood (downtown Vancouver, Canada), to assess recent healthcare experiences and elicit interest in mobile phone-based healthcare engagement for underserved residents. • Using the 14 C Bomb Pulse to Date Young Speleothems

Open Access•Ed Hodge, Janece Mcdonald et al.•ARTICLE•Radiocarbon•2011•Cited by: 13•References: 22

Three modern speleothems were sampled at high resolution for radiocarbon analysis to identify their bomb-pulse signatures and to construct chronologies. Each speleothem exhibited a different 14 C response, presumed to be related to site characteristics such as vegetation, temperature, rainfall, depth below the surface, and water pathway through the aquifer. Peak 14 C activity for WM4 is 134.1 pMC, the highest cited thus far in the literature and …
