In the USA, Black sexual minority men (BSMM) remain disproportionately impacted upon by HIV and other sexual health issues. Individuals who attend church have lower rates of morbidity and mortality than those that do not; however, church attendance presents a paradox of being protective for some health outcomes and a risk for others among this population. New Directions in Law and Narrative
This commentary assesses the state of scholarship on law and narrative and argues for a more holistic approach to the topic. Narrative and law do not encounter each other accidentally but are ineluctably intertwined. Law is a dominant narrative form in the modern world; narrative suffuses not just testimony but all legal practice. We urge scholarship that recognizes law and narrative as part of the same socio-cultural project of making the world

More than 9,300 productions have opened on Broadway during the past century. Of the vast majority, theatre historians have had little or nothing to say. This essay recuperates those forgotten productions with a quantitative, digital methodology that approaches Broadway as what Pierre Bourdieu calls a "field of cultural production."
