Measuring Physician Mental Workload
This study examined the reliability and validity of a brief six-item instrument to measure the mental workload experienced by residents for specific patient visits to an ambulatory care clinic. Participating in the study were twenty-two residents in postgraduate years 1 through 3 who were working in the general outpatient clinic of an inner city, private, nonprofit community hospital. A Supplement to “A High Status Burial from Grasshopper Ruin, Arizona
Additional analysis of the projectile points from Burial 140 at Grasshopper pueblo indicates that some of the included projectile points may have been the personal property of the individual buried in the grave, while others were probably offerings contributed by other individuals
A Lower Terrace Compound at San Cayetano Del Tumacacori
Additional excavations carried out at San Cayetano del Tumacacori in connection with the Arizona Highway Archaeological Salvage Program did not substantially alter conclusions presented in DiPeso's (1956) The Upper Pima of San Cayetano del Tumacacori. Certain typological problems are indicated and some new data are made available
An Experiment in Problem-Oriented Highway Salvage Archaeology
The application of both chronological and functional objectives to a highway salvage project revealed a site in which stone was quarried and tools shaped by chipping, game was hunted and vegetal material possibly gathered. These activities were spatially patterned in relation to available natural resources. The users of this site were probably small work groups or single individuals.
