  • Digital Literary Mapping

Sally Bushell, James O Butler et al.•ARTICLE•Cartographica The International…•2022

  • Digital Literary Mapping

Sally Bushell, James O Butler et al.•ARTICLE•Cartographica The International…•2022

Cet arti…

  • Chronotopic Cartography

Open Access•Sally Bushell, James O Butler et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Victorian Culture•2021

This short methods paper emerges out of the AHRC-funded ‘Chronotopic Cartographies’ project for the digital mapping of place and space as represented in works of literature. The primary aim of that project was to find a way of mapping and visualizing represented literary worlds for which there is no corresponding real ‘ground’. A solution was found in the form of topological graphs which allow for relative rather than absolute mapping (but also p…

    Duncan Hay•ARTICLE•Technology and Culture•1990

On October 20, 1985, the State Museum opened Made in an exhibit on 19th-century manufacturing that represents the institution's largest research, collecting, and exhibition undertaking to date. For four years Made in Maine consumed nearly all the energies of the museum's staff, along with $400,000 in construction costs. However, payoffs for citizens of Maine, the museum community, and scholars of industrial history more than justify this initial …
