  • Preoperative risk stratification for pathological upgrading in colorectal polyps using explainable machine learning: Implications for screening optimization and resource allocation

Open Access•Bo Yang, Chang Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2026

Background: Pathological upgrading in colorectal polyps, which occurs when resection specimens have a higher histological grade than preoperative biopsies, can lead to an underestimation of the severity of the disease and suboptimal treatment. Given the substantial global burden of colorectal cancer (CRC), improving preoperative risk stratification of colorectal polyps is essential for optimizing screening strategies and resource allocation in CR…

  • Brief digital psychological intervention to prevent relapse of non‐suicidal self‐injury behavior in adolescents: A randomized controlled trial

Open Access•Chang Zhang, Diyang Qu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Child Psychology and…•2026

  • The joint role of childhood emotional abuse and bullying victimization in the development of adolescent depressive symptoms: Sequential mediation or enhanced moderation

Xi Li, Chang Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2025

  • Accumulation patterns of sedentary and breaks and adiposity risk in Chinese children and adolescents: A latent profile analysis

Open Access•Ting Li, Lijuan Wang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

Different accumulation patterns of SED and breaks were identified for children and adolescents in China. Among them, "MVPA breakers" and "Breakers" are most beneficial to maintain a normal weight status. Health promotion efforts could consider increasing MVPA and decreasing SED time for children and restricting SED to at least 30 min for adolescents to improve their adiposity indicators
