  • Large language model-facilitated interventions for enhancing psychological resilience in cyberbullying victims: Targeting self-esteem and self-compassion

Tomoko Kishimoto, Ximing HAO et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2026

  • Social withdrawal subtypes and psychological well-being in Chinese emerging and early adults: Unsociability as a protective factor and age-differentiated effects in a new media social environment

Open Access•Tomoko Kishimoto, Tianyu Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2025

  • The recovery function of parasocial relationships for hopelessness on short-form video platforms: A moderated mediation study

Open Access•Xinzhou Xie, Yanjun Lin et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

Users on short-form video platforms can autonomously derive positive health effects (self-identity/well-being) via PSRs. Perceived similarity exerted a moderating effect on the relationship between hopelessness and PSRs among individuals on short-form video platforms: the positive relationship between hopelessness and PSR is stronger for individuals with higher perceived similarities

  • Dealing With Unnecessary: The Mediation Role of Social Overload on Fear of Missing Out and Social Media Fatigue

Open Access•Xinzhou Xie, Guangyao Jin et al.•ARTICLE•SAGE Open•2024

Previous studies have shown that the fear of missing out (FoMO) is positively associated with social media fatigue. However, few studies have explored the mediating and moderating mechanisms behind this association. In this study, we analyzed whether social overload mediates the association between FoMO and social media fatigue and whether this mediation process is moderated by interdependent self-construal. Using social support theory and the th…

  • Workplace Incivility and Employees' Personal Initiative: A Moderated Mediation Model of Emotional Exhaustion and Meaningful Work

    Open Access•Wenjing Gui, Qiyu Bai et al.•ARTICLE•SAGE Open•2022•References: 107

Workplace incivility has many negative effects, but its impact on personal initiative and related mechanisms are still unclear. Drawing from conservation of resource theory, we tested the relationship between workplace incivility, emotional exhaustion, meaningful work, and personal initiative. The results from three-wave lagged and multisource data ( N = 229) indicated that workplace incivility was negatively correlated with personal initiative, …
