The effects of future time perspectives on future job insecurity among undergraduates
This study, based on conservation of resources (CORs) theory, explores how undergraduates’ future time perspective (FTP) affects their perception of future job insecurity (FJI). It also examines how individual resources (proactive personality, PP) and external resources (social capital, SC) moderate this effect. A two-wave survey of 241 students in Fujian, China, found that FTP is positively correlated to FJI. The three-way interaction analysis s…
Neurological music therapy for poststroke depression, activity of daily living and cognitive function
Introduction Music therapy (MT) has been adapted to post-stroke rehabilitation for years and there were several theories of treatment methods. Our music therapist utilized neurological MT to design a treatment program for stroke survivors. We aimed to compare the effects of a low-dose neurological MT with no MT on outcomes measuring depression, activity of daily living and cognitive function amongst stroke survivors
Predicting new-onset post-stroke depression from real-world data using machine learning algorithm
Machine learning models can provide as potential predictive tools for PSD and important factors are identified to alert clinicians for early detection of depression in high-risk stroke patients
