This article develops a cosmopolitan field analysis, drawing on Bourdieu and Beck, to analyze Swiss hospitality management schools (SHMS). Using a multiple correspondence analysis (MCA) and 19 interviews, it highlights the competing uses of academic recognition, admissions, and alumni networks, as well as the complexity of reconciling Swiss and international identities.
