Simulation-based education’s impact on medical students’ tolerance of uncertainty
The purpose of this grounded study was to explore how medical students encountered and managed uncertainty during a high-fidelity simulation. We interviewed 15 fourth year medical students as they progressed through the scenario and used constant comparative analysis to analyze our interview data. Three themes emerged from our data, which informed our theoretical framework: 1) Uncontrollable circumstances were the root of uncertainty; 2) uncertai…

A Novel Metaphor Graph Drawing Method for Multidimensional Data Visualisation and Its Case Study on Covid-19 Vaccination Analysis
Visualisation techniques have been one of the best data processing and analysis methods in recent decades, and they have assisted in data understanding efforts in various fields. Visualisation techniques for low-dimensional data are well developed and applied in multiple sectors; however, multidimensional data visualisation techniques still present some limitations, such as inaccurate data comparison and perception, exaggerated visual differences…
Ammonia Volatilization and Greenhouse Gases Emissions during Vermicomposting with Animal Manures and Biochar to Enhance Sustainability
There is a huge potential for nutrient recovery from organic waste materials for soil fertility restoration as well as negative environmental emission mitigation. Previous research has found vermicomposting the optimal choice for converting organic waste into beneficial organic fertilizer while reducing reactive N loss. However, a great deal of the processes of greenhouse gases (GHG) and ammonia volatilization during vermicomposting are not well-…

Should a Chinese school be set as the goal? If so, how should this be pursued? This debate and the relevant efforts have proved to be a promising movement in the…
