En esta nota se presentan los resultados obtenidos de las investigaciones arqueológicas desarrolladas en el sitio Alero Dupuy, departamento de Coronel Pringles, provincia de San Luis. Los materiales recuperados en las excavaciones permiten plantear la realización de actividades múltiples por parte de grupos cazadores recolectores posiblemente con ocupaciones redundantes desde el Holoceno medio al tardío
The Use of Female Commercial Sex Workers’ Services by Latino Day Laborers
This article reports the characteristics of Latino day laborers who have sex with female commercial sex workers (CSWs). A sample of 450 day laborers in Los Angeles was used. Multivariate logistic regression was used to determine the association of independent variables with the likelihood of having sex with a CSW. An Initial Investigation of Validation of the Matrix Analogies Test-Expanded Form in Ecuador
This is a first preliminary study of the validity and reliability of the Matrix Analogies Test--Expanded Form in South America. Participants were 104 Spanish-speaking children between the ages of 5 and 17 years living in Ecuador. Values of Cronbach alpha ranged from .87 to .92 for the 4 groups of items and was .95 for the total score. Raw scores on the MAT increased across ages. Scores of boys did not differ significantly from those of girls. Tot…
