  • Cultural Heritage Narrative Innovation and Adaptation Mechanisms

Open Access•Su Yan, Chenxi Yang et al.•ARTICLE•Heritage•2026•References: 1

The deepening of the “Belt and Road” Initiative urgently requires breaking through the dilemmas of symbolization, unidirectionality, and contextual de-embedding in the export of traditional cultural heritage. This paper takes the 2023 China-Germany “Tracing the Belt and Road” cultural heritage exchange project as the research object, employing a single-case exploratory research method to construct a theoretical model of “narrative carrier innovat…

  • A Qualitative Systematic Review of Stigma, Violence, Victimization, and Associated Coping Among Transgender People Engaged in Sex Work

    Open Access•Chenxi Yang, Yu-Te Huang et al.•ARTICLE•Trauma Violence & Abuse•2025

Globally, transgender people engaged in sex work experience disproportionately high risks of victimization. While qualitative studies on the perspectives of transgender people engaged in sex work can shed light on their intersecting experiences, a qualitative synthesis could offer a systematic understanding and inform anti-oppressive practices and policies. This review explores the experience of stigma, violence, victimization, and associated cop…

  • A Qualitative Examination of the Content Validity of the EQ‐5D‐5L and EQ‐5D‐Y‐3L in Adult and Paediatric Patients With Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Open Access•Richard Huan Xu, Rui Jiang et al.•ARTICLE•Health Expectations•2025

OBJECTIVE: This study examined the content validity of EQ-5D for Chinese patients with DMD. Specifically, it investigated: (1) the content validity of EQ-5D-5L in adult DMD patients and (2) the content validity of EQ-5D-Y-3L (Y-3L) in DMD patients aged 8-15 years. METHOD: This qualitative study used semi-structured interviews and conducted one-on-one and online, with two groups of individuals with DMD to examine the content validity of the EQ-5D-…

  • LGBT+ Inclusion and Human Rights in Taiwan

Open Access•Yu-Te Huang, Chenxi Yang et al.•ARTICLE•Social Policy and Society•2025

Taiwan is regarded as the vanguard of LGBT+ rights in Asia. We conducted a scoping review to map research on LGBT+ inclusion in Taiwan, identify knowledge gaps and propose future directions for research and policy. Results indicate a predominant focus on health, with the over-representation of gay men and exclusion of lesbian and bisexual women and transgender/gender diverse people. Despite being the first Asian jurisdiction to legalise same-sex …

  • Identification and Functional Characterization of a Novel SOX4 Mutation Predisposing to Coffin–Siris Syndromic Congenital Heart Disease

Open Access•Zi Yan, Binbin Dong et al.•ARTICLE•Children•2025

Background/Objectives: Congenital heart disease (CHD) occurs in ~1% of all live neonates globally, rendering it the most prevalent developmental anomaly affecting humans; this condition confers substantial infant morbidity and mortality worldwide. Although there is ample evidence to suggest a paramount genetic basis for CHD, the genetic etiologies underpinning the majority of CHD remain elusive. In the present study, SOX4 was selected as a signif…

  • Peer victimization and adolescent's social adjustment

Open Access•Zhongju Xie, Chenxi Yang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Research on Adolescence•2025•References: 4

A recurring paradox in recent literature is that victims' psychological adjustment outcomes worsen as classroom-level victimization declines. Due to the limited and inconsistent findings from longitudinal studies, this two-wave study aims to examine whether the impact of individual-level victimization on three basic psychological needs (autonomy, relatedness, and competence needs) and internalizing problems (anxiety and depression) varies across …

Numerous studies have explored the connections between sexual well-being and a range of shaping factors, including gender and sexual identity, family relationships, education and religious beliefs. However, only limited research has examined the interdependence between sexual well-being and poverty,…

  • Particle System-Based Multi-Hierarchy Dynamic Visualization of Ocean Current Data

Open Access•Qingtong Shi, Bo Ai et al.•ARTICLE•ISPRS International Journal of…•2021

In three-dimensional (3D) digital Earth environment, there are many problems when using the existing methods to express the ocean current, such as uneven distribution of seed points, density leap in scale change and messy visualization. In this paper, a new dynamic visualization method of multi-hierarchy flow field based on particle system is proposed; Specifically, three typical spherical uniform algorithms are studied and compared, and the stre…
