Al‐Zayyan Temple or Qasr Al‐Zayyan might be regarded as one in a chain of several fortresses that the Romans built to secure the salver's trade caravan route between Asyut and Sudan, known as Darb Al‐Arbain. Al‐Zayyan temple lies about 25 km south of Al‐Kharga city, the capital of the New Valley, and deviates to the east of Al‐Kharga‐Paris main road some 2 km along the Al‐Zayyan‐Aarif minor road. High-density resistivity survey and experimental measurement of subsurface temperatures on Hirui-Otsuka Mounded Tomb in Ogaki, Japan
The Hirui-Otsuka mounded tomb located in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, dates back to the late fourth century ad. A resistivity survey was carried out in order to acquire detailed information about the central burial on the top of the mound. A 23.5 m by 16.5 m rectangular area was surveyed, and 34 measurement lines each with a length of 23.5 m were measured at intervals of 0.5 m.
