    In theories of the journalism-state relationship, the watchdog model of journalism competes with other models emphasizing either subservient or oppositional relations.     This article develops a system for analyzing the aggressiveness of journalists' questions to public figures and applies that system to a sample of presidential news conferences from Eisenhower through Clinton.   • Emotional availability in infants' relationships with multiple caregivers

    Emotional availability was rated in infants' relationships with significant caregivers over a nine-month period. Infant responsivity to and involvement of caregivers was found to be related to individual sensitivity, while each relationship appeared to be unique, and not based on the nature of the infants' relationships with their mothers
