  • ‘We’ve seen it escalate – it’s a huge problem’

Open Access•Bronwyn Mcgill, Shiho Rose et al.•ARTICLE•Health Education Journal•2025

Objectives: Although schools have an important role to play in preventing vape use, literature about teacher perceptions of vaping among students is limited. • Who sells tobacco, who stops? A comparison across different tobacco retailing schemes

Suzan Burton, Fiona Phillips et al.•ARTICLE•Tobacco Control•2020

  • Friends with benefits’

    Open Access•Carlos Núñez, Visalini Nair‐Shalliker et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2018

This evidence suggests that a healthy weight and vigorous activity are essential to reduce CC risk since these factors may be independent of each other

  • Observed retail price of Australia’s market-leading cigarette brand before and up to 3 years after the implementation of plain packaging

Simone Egger, Sam Egger et al.•ARTICLE•Tobacco Control•2018

Contrary to tobacco company predictions of a fall in prices, the price of the market-leading Australian cigarette brand increased significantly in the 3 years after plain packaging was introduced, and these increases were above the combined effects of inflation and increases in excise/customs duty

  • To sell or not to sell

Suzan Burton, Mark Ludbrooke et al.•ARTICLE•Tobacco Control•2017

Despite claims by tobacco companies that tobacco sales are important for many Australian retailers, tobacco sales appear to be of limited importance for alcohol-licenced premises. This means that opposition to stopping tobacco sales where alcohol is consumed and/or sold may be less than expected

  • A cross-sectional exploration of smoking status and social interaction in a large population-based Australian cohort

    Open Access•May Chiew, Marianne F Weber et al.•ARTICLE•Social Science & Medicine•2012•References: 42
