  • Study on the mechanism of anti-pulmonary fibrosis action of Jingfang granules based on the Keap1-Nrf2-GPX4 pathway

Open Access•Wenjing Yu, Yonghu Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

In summary, JF exerts its anti-fibrotic effects by targeting Keap1 and competitively disrupting the Keap1-Nrf2 interaction, thereby promoting Nrf2 protein translocation into the nucleus. This mechanism provides experimental evidence supporting its clinical application and new drug development

  • Explore the mechanism of yishenjiangya formula in the treatment of senile hypertension based on multi-omics technology

Open Access•Xu Ma, Jie Yu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

  • Eco-compensation policy to promote households’ behavior for comprehensive utilization of crop straw

    Open Access•Zhen Jiang, Weiming Li et al.•ARTICLE•Sustainable Futures•2025•References: 1

The comprehensive utilization of crop straw is critical to green development of agriculture, as it mitigates open-field burning pollution while enhancing biomass energy production. Eco-compensation policy plays a crucial role in promoting straw utilization. However, is there a sustained pattern of comprehensive utilization of crop straw by households following the termination of the eco-compensation policy? In this paper, we used survey data from…

  • Comparison of healthspan-related indicators between adults with and without HIV infection aged 18–59 in the United States

Open Access•Chen Chen, Xingqi Cao et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2023

In a large sample of U.S. community-dwelling adults, by identifying the extent and pattern of health disparities, we characterized the multi-dimentional health of PWHs, providing important public health implications for public policy that aims to improve health of persons with HIV and further reduce these disparities

  • Providing HIV testing in men who have sex with men through a gay social networking app in China

Open Access•Tianming Zhao, Zhaobing Cao et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2022

Objective: We explored the feasibility of app-based HIV testing services (AHTS) among men who have sex with men (MSM) according to the perspectives of testing service providers. Methods: Twenty-one current or previous AHTS providers participated in a semi-structured interview which explored the facilitators and barriers to AHTS. Ten participants originating from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and 11 from the non-governmental …

  • Evaluation of the impact of a chronic disease scheme reimbursing medical costs of patients with diabetes in Anhui province, China

Open Access•Qicheng Jiang, Zhen Jiang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2016

On-going membership of the CDS was associated with increased use of services but this did not appear to result in better management of blood glucose or improved quality of life. Those who had recently joined the scheme had signs of improvement, suggesting a need for active follow-up to maintain and reinforce early gains

  • Confrontations on the Issue of Terrorism Between Iran and the U.S. after 1979

Zhen Jiang, Jiang Zhen•ARTICLE•Terrorism and Political Violence•2016

The issue of terrorism has been a significant source of influence on the relationship between Iran and the U.S. since the Islamic Revolution. Iran's friendship with extremist groups that are designated as terrorist groups by the U.S. State Department is seriously challenging America's foreign policy. This article attempts to explore the prospect of confrontations on the issue of terrorism between Iran and the U.S. through a detailed analysis of t…

  • Synthesis of MgMnSiO4 and Its Application as Cathode Material for Magnesium Battery

    Jianzhi Sun, Zhen Jiang•ARTICLE•New Materialisms•2014

Orthosilicate MgMnSiO4 was prepared by sol-gel route and a subsequent heating procedure as a cathode material for rechargeable magnesium batteries. XRD patterns showed that MgMnSiO4 has a orthorhombic system with space group Pbnm(62). MgMnSiO4 presents good electrochemical behaviors at 10 mAg-1 discharge current density with specific capacity 130.1 mAhg-1 after 20 cycles. The results show that MgMnSiO4 could be a potential cathode material for hi…

  • Integrated response toward HIV

Open Access•Zhen Jiang, Dongxiao Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Health Promotion International•2011

Integrated HIV response refers to a formalized, collaborative process among organizations in communities with HIV at-risk populations. It is a both comprehensive and flexible scheme, which may include community-based environment promotion, skill coalition, fund linkage, human resource collaboration and service system jointly for both HIV prevention and control. It enables decisions and actions responds over time. In 1997, the Chinese government d…

  • Evaluation of a pilot cooperative medical scheme in rural China

Open Access•Qicheng Jiang, Zhen Jiang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2011

This evaluation suggests that all family members did not benefit equally from the pilot CMS and that women ≥ 65 years may be disadvantaged by the newly available reimbursements of health care costs through the CMS. It points to the need, in future evaluations, to use individuals rather than families as the unit of analysis, in order to determine whether such health care inequalities are wide-spread and persistent or are reduced in the longer term…

  • The Color of Hospitalization Over the Adult Life Course

    Kenneth F Ferraro, Roland J Thorpe et al.•ARTICLE•The Journals of Gerontology…•2006•Cited by: 8•References: 7

Health inequality in America is manifest in how White and Black adults enter and exit hospitals. The findings demonstrate growing heterogeneity in later life by race

  • The Color of Hospitalization Over the Adult Life Course
