It has been suggested that there is a persistent and continuing shortage of information and communication technology (ICT) workers in Canada. We examine this claim in the context of confidential microdata from the Canadian Labour Force Survey for 1987–2016. This article documents four stone circles in Aberdeenshire. The author notes their placement, how many stones are still standing and the type of stone used. The centre of each circle was excavated and although these excavations found evidence of human remains, the author could not conclude whether that meant these stone circles were the site of human sacrifice or burial monuments

The author describes several carved stones that he recovered from where they were thrown into the sea in 1832. He covers what he knows of the stones' background and some information about the area in which they originated.
