Targeted Telehealth Education Increases Interest in Using Telehealth among a Diverse Group of Low-Income Older Adults
Telehealth allows older adults to take control over their health and preventive care; however, they are less likely to use telehealth. Assessing and addressing social determinants of health can improve health outcomes of older adults. The Nebraska Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program implemented a primary care liaison (PCL) model of care, including training primary care staff to assess and address unmet social needs, patient counseling to identify unmet needs, and mapping referral services through cross-sectoral partnerships. A state-wide audit of unhealthy sponsorship within junior sporting clubs in Victoria, Australia
Objective: To systematically audit the extent of unhealthy sponsorship within junior community sporting clubs and ascertain whether differences exist across geographical areas and sport types. Design: Club sponsorship data were assessed to determine the extent of unhealthy food/beverage, alcohol and gambling sponsorship using a cross-sectional design.
