  • The effect of charring and burial on the biochemical composition of cereal grains

    Open Access•Amy K Styring, H Manning et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Archaeological Science•2013•Cited by: 32•References: 3

  • Assessing natural variation and the effects of charring, burial and pre-treatment on the stable carbon and nitrogen isotope values of archaeobotanical cereals and pulses

    Open Access•Rebecca Fraser, R A Fraser et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Archaeological Science•2013•Cited by: 56•References: 7

  • Integrating botanical, faunal and human stable carbon and nitrogen isotope values to reconstruct land use and palaeodiet at LBK Vaihingen an der Enz, Baden-Württemberg

    Open Access•Rebecca Fraser, R A Fraser et al.•ARTICLE•World Archaeology•2013•Cited by: 75•References: 48

In this paper we reconstruct the palaeodietary setting of LBK Vaihingen an der Enz, south-west Germany (later sixth millennium cal. bc) using C-13 and N-15 values of human and faunal bone collagen and of charred plant remains from cereal crops (e.g. emmer and einkorn wheat) and pulses (lentil and pea). Our examination of this Neolithic dietary food web' incorporates crop N-15 values within a linear-mixing model to examine the estimated proportion…

  • A method for evaluating alternative landscape management scenarios in relation to the biodiversity conservation of habitats

Open Access•Janet Haddock, Joseph Tzanopoulos et al.•ARTICLE•Ecological Economics•2007

  • Hand-dug caissons or wells

    R A Fraser, E V Jenkins et al.•CHAPTER•Civil engineering for underground…•1990

  • Inbreeding Depression in Japanese Quail

Open Access•K Sittmann, Hans Abplanalp et al.•ARTICLE•Genetics•1966
