Este artigo pretende, por um lado, analisar a Vida de Augusto na obra de Suetônio visando nela identificar elementos que nos permitam associá-la ao domínio da memória do Principado Romano no século II da Era Comum. Por outro lado, objetiva-se observar, a partir da mesma obra, os possíveis aspectos que podem estar relacionados mais precisamente ao governo do imperador romano Adriano
