    When Dumont left Paris on 2 February 1791 to pay a visit to Geneva, he said goodbye to Mirabeau for the last time. The celebrated orator would be dead within months. On 5 February, Mirabeau wrote him a moving letter. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
