La succession végétale sur les cultures en terrasses de la Vallée de la Roya (Alpes-Maritimes, France) et sa perception par la population locale
La présente étude met en relation l'état écologique des cultures en terrasses de la moyenne Vallée de la Roya avec les valeurs socioculturelles qui y sont liées. Quatorze types de végétation ont été identifiés et ordonnés dans un modèle de succession. Les terrasses encore entretenues sont des oliveraies ou des prairies sèches. Late- and post-glacial vegetation immigration patterns in Switzerland
General aspects of Swiss late- and post-glacial plant immigration patterns are briefly discussed. The following examples are mentioned: Ericaceae, Plantago alpina, Pinus cembra and Picea abies. The history of flora and Vegetation provides important palaeoecological informations. Moreover, it gives evidence to the stability and age of quaternary plant communities and serve as criteria for gene conservation in situ. Finally, the knowledge of plant …

A Statistical analysis of published and compilated snowline data for the late-glacial Stades of Gschnitz, Clavadel, Daun and Egesen is presented. The calculation of snowline and snowline-depression (compared to the extent of 1850) is based on the 2: 1 -equilibrium line method. Eine gefügekundliche Auswertung von Luftbildern des engeren S. Bernardino-Paßgebietes ergab drei unterschiedlich orientierte Bruchscharen, die quer und schräg zum Streichen verlaufen.
